The garlands are brought by the chief pontiff of Tirumala temple or by his disciple, with a lighted torch in a procession to the rhythmic beat of Jeganta (handy bells)to the temple.

This Seva is performed daily early morning (2:30 to 3:00 AM) to wake up Lord Venkateshwara from his sleep by chanting a series of poem : Suprabhatam is a ritual performed every day before the bangaru vakili (Gold Doors) which is shown in the above image. Sahasra Deepalanakara seva is performed daily at 5:30PM in the Unjal mandapa.Sri Malayappa swami along with Sridevi and Bhudevi are taken out in procession where one thousand wick lamps are lit. Kalyanotsavam is a wedding ritual performed according to vaikasa agama sastra for lord Venkateshwara with Sri Devi and Bhu Devi in the kalyana mandapam which is present inside the main temple. A purohit conducts the marriage and an archaka is consecrated to perform other rituals on behalf of the bridegroom. The duration of the seva is about one hour. Arjitha BrahmotsavamĪrijitha Brahmotsavam is the shorter version of annual brahmotsavam event. The seva is done in the Vaibhavotsava Mandapam where lord will be shown sitting in Garuda vahana and hanumantha vahana. Seva Cost : 220/- INR Person(s) Allowed : 1 Prasadam : 2 Laddus. On completion of Thomala Seva, Archana or Sahasranamarchana (1000 Name Recital) is performed to the main deity Lord Venkateshwara amidst chanting of his one thousand names.
